Welcome to the Robert G. White Large Animal Research Station at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. LARS, as the station is referred to by Fairbanks locals, is located on a former homestead close to the University of Alaska Fairbanks campus at 2220 Yankovich Road.
LARS serves excellence in research and education in high-latitude biology and provides facilities for and expertise in maintaining colonies of large animals, coordinating educational opportunities, and conducting community outreach in support of the UAF mission.

Do you like mowing? Do you like pulling weeds? Apply to come work at LARS for the rest of the summer! We will keep you busy, and you get to spend the day outside hopefully in the sun. Must be a UAF undergraduate to apply. Please follow link below to apply!
